How do I delete a gift from my registry?
Login to your registry and then click on the underlined name of the gift to edit. Scroll down to the bottom of the next page and click Delete.
How do I close my registry?
Login to your registry and then click on Edit Profile in the main navigation. Scroll down to the bottom of the next page and uncheck the Active checkbox and then click Save.
How do I know when an item has been purchased from my Gift List?
When you receive it! We don't let you know that an item has been purchased by a Gift Giver until you physically receive it. This is to maintain the
"surprise" of gift receiving!
The item will remain on your gift registry but your Gift Givers will not see an item that has been
checked off as purchased by another Gift Giver. After you physically receive a gift, you should then go to your Gift List and check it off as being purchased.
The Add to MyGiftList Bookmark doesn't work...
There are some limitations to the Add to MyGiftList Bookmark. After you click it, a new web browser window will open and it will display
a MyGiftList page asking you to login. Once you have logged in, it will display a page asking you for information about the gift you
want to add to your Gift List. The bookmark can only find the title of the page you were viewing and its web address (URL). You will need
to change the gift name to what you want and also find and enter the price by hand.
If you don't see the above pages and you are using Netscape, you might have installed the bookmark incorrectly. If you see the instruction page for how to install the bookmark after
selecting the Add to MyGiftList bookmark on Netscape, then you bookmarked the wrong page.
To fix this, you will need to reinstall the bookmark by first removing all the ADD to MyGiftList bookmarks from your browser that you currently have.
Then go to this page: http://www.mygiftlist.com/getbookmark.asp
Point the mouse cursor at the underlined Add to MyGiftList hypertext link on the above page. The mouse cursor will become a hand instead of an arrow. Then click the RIGHT mouse button. A menu will appear and you can select Add Bookmark.
My Internet Explorer browser crashes while using MyGiftList...
Microsoft has found several bugs in Internet Explorer versions 4 and 5 that are fixed in version 5.5.

add a link to their web site on our charity page. We do not charge
the charities for this service, nor do we accept a percentage of the donations
they receive via our site.
